New Antitrust Guidelines Broaden Scope of Regulation of the Pharma Sector
The Chinese State Council released the Anti-Monopoly Guidelines for the Pharmaceutical Sector (关于药品领域的反垄断指南) which took effect on January 24. The Guidelines provide a comprehensive framework for China's antitrust regulator, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), according to Jones Day.
