Legislation roundup: Strategic investment, production of imported medical devices and contingency plan for data security incidents

A foreign investor is allowed to subscribe for new shares of a listed company as a placement target determined by means of competitive bidding. NMPA clarifies the qualifications of a foreign-invested enterprise that may produce imported medical devices in China. Large data security incidents are required to be reported to the local industry regulator.
