Applicability: For the purposes of these Measures, the term "assisting law enforcement" means the act or activity wherein the market regulatory authority, when conducting a regulatory or law enforcement activity, such as a monitoring inspection, case investigation, incident handling, recall of a defective consumer product, or handling of a consumer dispute, requires, in accordance with the law, an online trading platform operator (an "operator") to provide information on a merchant trading on its platform and related trading information, verify and confirm the item for which assistance is requested and report the outcome thereof, and assist the market regulatory authority in the conduct of its regulatory and law enforcement work (Article 2).
Main contents: (Other circumstances) Other online service providers that provide to merchants online trading platform services such as online places of business, product browsing, order generation or online payment shall perform the obligations of operators in accordance with the law.
