Winners of the China Law & Practice Awards 2023

Susan MokThe top spots in the 17th Annual China Law & Practice Awards have been won by Zhong Lun Law Firm and Clifford Chance
Winning the utmost prestige of China Firm of the Year and International Firm of the Year at the 2023 China Law & Practice Awards are Zhong Lun Law Firm and Clifford Chance, with the domestic practice also seizing two other titles as M&A Firm of the Year and Intellectual Property Firm of the Year.
Clifford Chance was also a duo-winner, earning plaudits as Capital Markets Firm of the Year and Competition Firm of the Year.
Three other foreign law firms–Baker McKenzie, Morgan Lewis & Bockius and Allen & Overy–have also won two awards each in the heavily contested international firm category. Baker McKenzie won recognition as Banking & Finance Firm of the Year as well as Trade Firm of the Year. Allen & Overy successfully beat out its international rivals, laying claim to its well-deserved title as Dispute Resolution Firm of the Year and Projects & Energy Firm of the Year, while Morgan Lewis was crowned Technology, Media and Telecommunications Firm of the Year and Intellectual Property Firm of the Year.
