Main contents: The Practice Guide sets forth requirements in respect of the protection of personal information for payment scenarios with facial recognition in indoor and outdoor areas. The Practice Guide does not apply where a user makes a payment with facial recognition using his/her own mobile phone or other smart mobile terminal.
Data shall not be collected other than when facial recognition is active: data collection shall commence only after an express interactive action, such as a manual click; and data collection shall stop once facial recognition is completed or one minute after the commencement of data collection.
