Susan MokA U.S. prosecutor has raised concerns over China's data retention policy. Another foreign brand, Manolo Blahnik, wins its case in a two-decade-long trademark fight. The CAC imposes a fine of more than RMB 8 billion on Didi for serious violations of national and data security.
U.S. Courts Do Not Accommodate PRC Blocking Statutes
Carolyn Pokorny, the top deputy U.S. Attorney in Brooklyn, said at a cybersecurity conference at New York's Fordham University that U.S. companies are having more of their customer data stored on servers of their business in China and this is hindering U.S. criminal investigations when they are unable to respond to some search warrants.
