Main contents: Beijing Municipality supports market entities in exploring new technologies, new industries, new business models and new model intellectual property management measures and protection models involving mobile internet, big data, artificial intelligence, quanta, cutting-edge biotechnology, etc. It supports the Comprehensive National Demonstration Zone for Opening Up the Service Sector, the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the Zhongguancun National Innovation Demonstration Zone, etc. in exploring and innovating in system mechanisms, policy measures, etc. for the protection of intellectual property as authorized by the state (Article 7).
Beijing Municipality supports the establishment of institutions and engagement in business operations in Beijing of foreign intellectual property service firms, arbitration institutions, etc. in accordance with the law, and promotes the establishment of international intellectual property trading and operating platforms to expand the opening up of the intellectual property sector to foreign participation (Article 9).
