MIIT draft law defines core data for the first time

Issued: September 30, 2021

Applicability: The engagement in industrial and telecommunications data processing activities and the oversight of the security thereof in the People's Republic of China shall comply with the requirements of relevant laws, administrative regulations and these Measures (Article 2).

Main contents: Data, if being altered, damaged or leaked, or being illegally obtained or used, the degree of harm posed by which satisfies conditions such as the following are core data:
