Second law draft of personal information adds articles on personal image capture and contract rescission. Beijing Municipality lowers its PE fund raising size. New rules are set forth for banking and insurance permits.

PRC Law on the Protection of Personal Information (Draft for Second Reading)

The installation of image capture or personal identification equipment in a public place shall be done solely if required to safeguard public security, shall comply with relevant state provisions and be indicated with prominent signs. The personal images or personal identifying feature information so collected may only be used for the purpose of maintaining public security, and may not be made public or provided to third parties, unless the separate consent of the individual is secured therefor.
