Promulgated: November 26, 2020
Effective: for Articles 1 and 4, as of date of promulgation; and for Articles 2 and 3, to be announced by the Supreme People's Court after the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) has completed the relevant procedures.
Main contents: The Supplemental Arrangement removes the previous requirement that a mainland China (Mainland) award must be issued by a recognized mainland arbitral institution in order to be enforceable in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
