At the 23rd meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress, the Decision on Amending the PRC Copyright Law (the Amendment) (关于修改〈中华人民共和国著作权法〉的决定) was passed. The revised PRC Copyright Law (中华人民共和国著作权法) has 6 chapters and 67 articles, and will come into force on June 1, 2021. The Amendment represents the first comprehensive revision of the Copyright Law since 2001.
