China-EU investment deal agreed
China and the European Union have come to an agreement on a much-anticipated investment deal. On Dec. 30, it was announced that Chinese and EU leaders have concluded negotiations on the Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI), which further opens up China's markets for EU investors and strengthens fair treatment for EU companies.
