U.S. trade policies with China will become more collaborative and predictable under the incoming Biden administration, lawyers say. But export controls and sanctions will continue.
The new administration will likely collaborate more with stakeholders in developing export controls and sanctions policies; this will mark a significant departure from the Trump administration's unpredictable policy-making approach, including using U.S. export controls and sanctions to further its foreign policy goals over the last four years.
