Effective: November 1, 2020
Main contents: The initial disclosure ratio for foreign shareholding is revised downward from 26% to 24%, namely when the total of the A-shares of any one listed company held by all of the foreign investors reaches or exceeds 24% of the total shares of the company in question, the Shanghai Stock Exchange will announce on its official website the total number of shares held by them and the percentage of the total shares of the company accounted for by them before the start of trading on the subsequent trading day (Article 16).
