Main contents: The Catalogue removes nine items in the prohibited and restricted categories, as well as adding 23 new items to the restricted category including three dimensional printing technology, drone technology, laser technology, large power equipment design technology, cryptography security technology, information defense technology, information attack technology, security enhancement technology for basic software and aerospace remote sensing image extraction technologies.

The key control points or technology parameters of 21 items are also revised. For instance, key control points are added under the item information processing technology: speech synthesis technology, artificial intelligence interactive interface technology, speech evaluation technology, intelligent marking technology, data analysis based personalized information pushing service technology.
