TikTok's U.S. future uncertain after Trump ban threat
The future of video-sharing app TikTok in the United States is in limbo after U.S. President Donald Trump said that he will ban the app. On July 31, the president said that he was going to sign an executive order banning the Chinese-owned app from the U.S. market. The app is owned by Beijing-based Chinese technology giant Bytedance.
