General Office of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, Measures for the Administration of the Insurance Agency Business of Commercial Banks
A commercial bank that wishes to engage in insurance agency business shall have a finance permit issued by the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission or an agency thereof. It may not engage in insurance agency Business through a third-party online platform.

Commencing from October 8, 2019, the interest rate on newly extended personal commercial housing loans shall be composed of the prime rate for loans of equivalent term during the past month plus basis points. The basis points shall accord with national and local housing credit policies, reflect the loan risk profile and remain unchanged during the contract term.
