CNIPA defines irregular trademark application, hurdles are further removed for foreign employees buying A-shares and unmanned aerial vehicles are regulated to mitigate risks

China National Intellectual Property Administration, Several Provisions for Regulating the Application for the Registration of Trademarks (Draft for Comments)

Irregular application for the registration of a trademark includes:

(1)        applying for the registration of a trademark that imitates one well known to the relevant public to take advantage of the business reputation of another; and

(2)        pre-emptively applying to register a trademark that is used by another and has a certain influence, so as to illegitimately appropriate another's business reputation.

People's Bank of China and State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Measures for the Administration of the Funds Involved in Equity Incentives in Which Foreign Employees of Domestically Listed Companies Participate

Where a domestically listed company implements an equity incentive and foreign employees of such company participate in such equity incentive, the listed company and its foreign employees shall carry out registration.

Foreign employees may use funds sourced from its lawful revenue in China or, alternatively, from funds remitted inward from abroad.

Civil Aviation Administration of China, Rules for the Administration of the Trial Operation of Specific Types of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Tentative)

In short, the Rules apply to the operation of the majority of unmanned aerial vehicles, other than those with a takeoff weight of less than seven kilograms, unmanned crop dusters and unmanned airships.

At the time of commencement of trial operation, a voluntary applicant shall have third-party insurance ensuring that all risks are covered in the operation.
