Employment permit requirements have been lifted for all Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents, oil and gas pipeline facilities are now open to private investment, and Guangdong FTZ now accepts electronic evidence in court

State Council, Decision on Abolishing a Batch of Administration Permissions and Other Such Items

The Decision abolishes the examination and approval of:

  • enterprise group registration;
  • mainland employment permits for persons from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao; and
  • proposals for foreign-invested road transport industry projects.

When a user submits an opening application to an oil/gas pipeline facility operator, it shall submit written materials, including the enterprise's business qualifications, permits and licenses, safety qualifications, quantities of oil/gas to be transported, stored, gasified, loaded, unloaded, transshipped, etc. and requirements in respect of the times and locations thereof, resource procurement letter of intent or contract, market sale letter of intent or contract, oil/gas quality parameters and other such relevant documents.
