China has set up seven more pilot FTZs in Liaoning, Zhejiang, Henan, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan and Shaanxi

State Council, General Plan for the China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone

Concentration in the zone of industries such as smart equipment, marine engineering equipment, aviation manufacturing, motor vehicles (with emphasis on alternative energy vehicles), new materials, hi-tech vessels, electronic information, biopharmaceuticals and high-end medical machinery, modern logistics such as commerce and courier services, and utilization of sea water is encouraged.

State Council, General Plan for the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone

Domestic and foreign financial institutions, financial technology enterprises and financial information service enterprises are permitted to participate in the development of the oil product trading spot market in the zone. Foreign enterprises will gradually be permitted to participate in commodity futures trading. Cooperation with international financial institutions and international oil product trading companies will be strengthened.

State Council, General Plan for the China (Henan) Pilot Free Trade Zone

Active efforts will be made to attract the concentration of international high-end medical enterprises and research and development institutions, and emphasis will be placed on health examinations, chronic illness treatment and recovery, personal healthcare based on Chinese traditional medicine, plastic and aesthetic surgery, and research, development and incubation of advanced medical technology to foster the development of a new operational format integrating recovery, fitness, health maintenance and leisure tourism.

State Council, General Plan for the China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone

The equity, technology and other such capital or element trading markets in the zone will be improved, and foreign investors will be permitted to participate in investment therein. Foreign-invested equity investment management institutions and foreign-invested venture capital management institutions are permitted to promote in the zone funds that manage renminbi equity investments and venture capital investments.

State Council, General Plan for the China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone

The engagement in globally oriented bonded cultural and art work exhibition, auctioning and dealing business is supported. Development of art work dealing market functions will be made more extensive. Emphasis will be put on film and television post production, disk copying, printing, film copying, etc.

State Council, General Plan for the China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone

The establishment of financial leasing companies and lease financing companies in the zone by qualified mainland Chinese and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan organizations is supported, and the launching of such business in sectors such as aircraft, vessels and their parts and components, robots, agricultural machinery, medical equipment and infrastructure is encouraged.

State Council, General Plan for the China (Shaanxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone

The zone proposes the carrying out of cultural relics protection and archaeological research work with countries along “the Belt and Road”, and the carrying out of international exchanges and cooperation between museums.
