Live-streaming services subject to review before releasing.

Applicability: The offering and use of internet live-streaming services in the People's Republic of China shall comply with these Provisions.

For the purposes of these Provisions, the term “internet live-streaming” means the activity of streaming on the internet information to the public in real time in video, audio, textual or other such form. For the purposes of these Provisions, the term “internet live-streaming service provider” means an entity that provides internet live-streaming platform services. For the purposes of these Provisions, the term “internet live-streaming service user” includes internet live streamers and users (Article 2).

Main contents: An internet live-streaming service provider or internet live-streaming publisher that wishes to provide internet news information services shall secure internet news information service qualifications in accordance with the law and provide such services within the scope of its permit (Article 5). An internet live-streaming service provider shall subject internet news information live-streaming and its interactive content to review before releasing the same (Article 7).
