Goods purchased online may be returned no questions asked in seven days.

Applicability: These Measures also apply to sale of goods by business operators through television, telephone or mail order (Article 37).

Main contents: Seven-day no questions asked return of goods purchased online does not apply to the following goods:

(1) goods made to order for the consumer;

(2) fresh, live or perishable goods;

(3) digital goods, such as audio and video recordings or computer software that have been downloaded or the packaging of which the consumer has opened; and

(4) delivered newspapers or periodicals (Article 6).

Goods returned by consumers shall be in good condition.

If the good has maintained its original quality and function, and the good itself, its components, the trademark representations thereon, etc. are in good order, the good shall be deemed to be in good condition (Article 8).

Electronics and electric appliances are deemed not to be in good condition if they have undergone unauthorized repair or modification, the mandatory product certification mark, instruction label, serial number, etc. thereon is damaged or has been altered, there are appearance-type signs of use thereon, making restoration to the original state difficult, or they generate activation or authorization information, retain unreasonable personal use data or there are other such data-type signs of use thereon (Article 9).
