Main contents: To engage in cloud service business in China, the requirements of the Measures for the Administration of Permission to Provide Telecommunications Services and the Circular on Further Regulating Access to the internet Data Center Business and internet Access Service Business Markets in respect of funding, personnel, premises, facilities, etc. shall be complied with, a pass shall be achieved in relevant technical evaluations and the relevant operating permits for value-added telecommunications services shall be secured in accordance with the law (Article 2).
When the relevant servers of the cloud service platform established in China by a cloud service operator connects to a foreign network, it shall do so through an internet international service gateway approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the same may not be done through another self-established or used channel by means of a dedicated line, virtual private network or other such means (Article 7).
