Main contents: Sale is prohibited to single persons whose household registration is in Beijing and who own at least one residential premises unit and to resident households whose household registration is not in Beijing and who own at least one residential premises unit, to resident households whose household registration is in Beijing and who own at least two residential premises units, and to resident households whose household registration is not in Beijing and who are unable to provide proof of payment of social insurance contribution and individual income tax in Beijing for five years consecutively (Article 1(2)).
Newly constructed commercial and office projects in Tongzhou District may only be sold to enterprises, public institutions or social organizations in accordance with their zoned purpose, and when the aforementioned entities are resold, they must also be sold to enterprises, public institutions or social organizations (Article 2).
