Main contents: An operator in the catering industry shall indicate to consumers in a prominent manner in advance of the price of the goods and service items it provides, and may not add unfair or unreasonable restrictive conditions, such as a minimum consumption amount (Article 29).
If a franchisee deliberately prolongs or unreasonably refuses a reasonable request from a consumer, or if it fails to perform its statutory civil liability due to a change in its business position, the franchiser shall bear joint and several liability (Article 35).
The operator of an online trading platform shall itself, or reach agreement with the business operators on the platform to, establish a deposit system for consumer rights and interests or advance compensation system, and make public the measures for the management and use of the deposits for consumer rights and interests or compensation amounts (Article 38).
