The SAIC's draft Consumer Protection Law Implementing Regulations have tightened online platforms' refund obligations, the pilot customs duty selection policy has been expanded within the FTZs and the MOF and NDRC have permitted patent filing and examination fee reductions

State Administration for Industry and Commerce, Implementing Regulations for the PRC Law on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Consumers (Draft for Comments)

The operator of an online trading platform shall itself, or reach agreement with the business operators on the platform to, establish a deposit system for consumer rights and interests or advance compensation system, and make public the measures for the management and use of the deposits for consumer rights and interests or compensation amounts.
