Main contents: According to the Draft, ownership of collective land, ownership of buildings and structures such as premises, ownership of forests and trees, the right to contract for the operation of agricultural land, forest land, grasslands and other such land, and the right to use construction land, rural residential land and territorial waters are subject to registration. All such registrations will be carried out by the State Council's department in charge of land and resources and will no longer be scattered across different authorities. Also, for the first time, immovable property is defined to mean land, territorial water and attachments such as premises and trees.
