Main contents: Food recalls are divided into:

(1) urgent recalls: after consumption, could lead to death or cause serious harm to human health, requiring urgent recall; and
(2) general recalls: after consumption, generally will not cause serious harm to health, and prompt recall is required.

If a dealer in foodstuffs discovers that a food that it is producing or dealing in falls within the scope of foods the production of or dealing in which is prohibited, or there is evidence that the food could be harmful to human health, it shall immediately cease dealing therein, place the product in stock under seal and notify relevant foodstuff dealers and consumers to cease selling and consuming the relevant problem food.
