Main contents: Affiliated transactions of a commercial bank include on- and off-balance sheet transactions occurring with its affiliated parties, such as various types of loans, credit commitments, securities repurchases, interbank loans, security provision and bond investments, as well as asset transfers and the provision of services to the commercial bank.
A commercial bank shall disclose in its regular reports the balance and risk exposure of its affiliated transactions with affiliated natural persons. It shall additionally disclose, in a timely manner, affiliated transactions with affiliated legal persons the transaction amount of which is equivalent to at least 0.5% of the commercial bank's most recently audited net assets. If the transaction amount of an affiliated transaction is at least Rmb30 million and is equivalent to at least 1% of its most recently audited net assets, it shall, in addition to disclosing the same in a timely manner, submit the same to the board of directors for deliberation. If the transaction amount of an affiliated transaction is equivalent to at least 5% of its most recently audited net assets, it shall, in addition to disclosing the same in a timely manner, submit the same to the shareholders' general meeting for deliberation (Article 22).
