Environmental protection
General Office of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Guidelines for the Disclosure of Government Information in Connection with the Environmental Impact Assessments of Construction Projects
The Ministry of Environmental Protection requires that, beginning from January 1 next year, an environmental protection department at any level is required to carry out two disclosures respectively before application acceptance and after approval. The contents of the disclosures are to include the entirety of the environmental impact report and tables (with the exception of contents involving state secrets and trade secrets) and contact information for the public to give feedback.

Real property
Shanghai Municipality, Measures Relevant to Further Strictly Implementing State Policy on Regulating and Controlling the Real Property Market
For resident households wishing to take out a commercial bank loan to purchase a second residential units, the ratio of the down payment is increased from not less than 60% to not less than 70%. Resident households whose permanent residence (hukou) is not in Shanghai that wish to purchase residential premises are now required to provide proof of paying taxes or social insurance premiums in Shanghai for a total of at least two years during the three years before the date of purchase of the premises.

Food safety
Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, PRC Food Safety Law (Draft Amendments for Deliberation)
Where a third party provider of a platform for online food trading fails to perform its specified obligations, thereby harming the lawful rights and interests of consumers, it shall bear joint and several liability and immediately pay compensation. If a party is sentenced to a fixed term of imprisonment or greater criminal punishment for a food safety crime, he/she may not engage in work associated with the production of, dealing in or management of food in perpetuity.
