Applicability: The revision in the administrative examination and approval matters in this Circular shall apply to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwanese investors as well as overseas Chinese citizens that invest and establish enterprises in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (the Zone) (Article 4).
Main contents: Foreign-invested performance brokerages and performance venue operators are allowed to be established in the Zone to serve the Shanghai Municipality (Article 1).
Foreign-invested enterprises are allowed to engage in the production and sale of gaming and entertainment equipment in the Zone, and the sale on the domestic market if they pass the content review by the competent cultural department (Article 3).
