Employers violating labour protection regulations will have difficulties borrowing loans from banks.

Main contents:
When a human resources and social security administrative department examines applications from employers for undertaking investment or participation in government procurement, it shall review, as reference, whether the employer has any records of violation of labour protection laws within the most recent three years (Article 19). Human resources and social security administrative departments shall, in accordance with provisions, notify in a timely manner the local (sub-)branches of the People's Bank of China (PBOC) of information on employers' violation of labour protection laws, as confirmed by legal documents that have come into effect in accordance with the law, and the local (sub-)branches shall record the said information in the basic database of enterprises' credit information of the PBOC (Article 20).
