Main contents: Under the Provisions, small- and medium-sized enterprises shall be divided into three categories, namely, medium-sized, small-sized and micro-sized enterprises (Article 2). In the industrial sector, companies with 1,000 or fewer employees or an operating revenue of Rmb400 million or less shall be medium-, small- and micro-sized enterprises. Companies with 300 or more employees and an operating revenue of Rmb20 million or more shall be classified as medium-sized enterprises. Companies with 20 or more employees and an operating revenue of Rmb3 million or more shall be classified as small-sized enterprises, and companies with fewer than 20 employees or an operating revenue of less than Rmb3 million shall be classified as micro-sized enterprises (Article 4).
