Euromoney Legal Media Group has commenced research for the latest addition to its growing portfolio of events – the inaugural Asia Women in Business Law Awards.
Due to be held at the Hong Kong Jockey Club on December 8, the Awards will recognise the achievements of those Asian and international law firms dedicated to the advancement of women in the legal profession, as well shining a light on the leading female business practitioners across 19 areas of practice.
The Awards follow the success of LMG's Europe Women in Business Law Awards, which were held in London in June.
Law firms were contacted in mid-August to provide the organisers with details of progress with any gender diversity initiatives, together with nominations of leading female practitioners. The deadline for receipt of submissions is September 6.
Covering 15 jurisdictions, 7 law firm categories and 7 in-house categories, the Awards will give those firms and clients that are setting the standard in female-friendly work practices the opportunity to celebrate their successes.
