Zuoan Fashion (Zuoan), a PRC-based menswear company, has launched its initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange. It raised US$42 million through the offering of 6 million American Depositary Shares. The underwriters were Cowen and Company, RBC Capital Markets, Samsung Securities and Janney Montgomery Scott.
A multi-office team from Davis Polk & Wardwell acted for the issuer, its Asia partners including James Lin and John Paton. Zuon's PRC counsel was Trend Associates. The underwriters were advised by O'Melveny & Myers as to New York law and Conyers Dill & Pearman served as Cayman Islands law advisers.
