Shanghai opens the market for private equity investments.

Effective: 30 days from the date of issuance

Main contents: A foreign-invested equity investment management enterprise that has received approval to participate in the pilot project may use foreign exchange funds to make capital contributions to the equity investment enterprises that it promotes and establishes. The amount thereof shall not exceed 5% of the total funds raised and such capital contribution shall not affect the original attributes of the equity investment enterprises invested in (Article 24).
