    The China intellectual property (IP) group of Bird & Bird has hired Clifford Borg-Marks as special counsel. He joins from the Beijing office of Hogan Lovells.

    Borg-Marks' focus is on portfolio management, licensing, due diligence and he specialises in troubleshooting for companies facing IP-related crises in China. He led Baker & McKenzie's China IP group in the 1990s.
