    Laura Luo, a capital markets, M&A and private equity specialist, has been hired by Winston & Strawn as a counsel in its Shanghai office. She was formerly at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

    Recently, Luo has been active on diverse equity and debt financing transactions for companies, underwriters and venture capital funds. Her practice is becoming more tailored to serving PRC-based US-listed companies, and their banks and investors. Luo has previous experience employed as a marketing and financial analyst at the former Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
