E-Commerce China Dangdang (Dangdang) has launched its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. It raised US$272 million through the issue and sale of 17 million American depositary shares.
The issuer is one of the leading business to consumer e-commerce companies in China.
Dangdang was advised by a Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom Hong Kong team, led by Julie Gao, and by Commerce and Finance Law Offices as to PRC law. The underwriters were represented by O'Melveny & Myers and Jun He Law Offices. Offshore counsel was Maples and Calder.
