Senior energy and infrastructure specialist James Douglass will transfer to the Beijing office of Linklaters from London in early January 2011. He was previously the firm's regional energy head based in Hong Kong from 2001 to 2004. He has cultivated a specialty in emerging markets, which are major investment targets of the firm's China clients.
In addition to Douglass' relocation, Linklaters demonstrates its commitment to its Asia energy and project finance practice by bringing out several other specialists from London. Andrew Zaw has joined the Singapore office, Jimmy Chua will join the Beijing office in December, and Jamles McLaren will relocate to Hong Kong early next year.
