DLA Piper has hired of counsel Kaichen Xu to join its corporate group in Shanghai. Previously with O'Melveny & Myers, Xu's practice focuses on private equity (PE), venture capital (VC), cross-border M&A, and foreign direct investment in China. Some of the PE and VC clients he has advised on include Actis, Carlyle, IDG and Merrill Lynch.
A native Chinese speaker, Xu is fluent in English and is qualified in New York.
