Jade & Fountain PRC Lawyers has hired three new partners. Jill Lee and Julia Kong will be based in the firm's Shanghai office, and Sophie Sha will join the Beijing office.
A corporate specialist, Sha joins from Baker & McKenzie's Beijing office and demonstrates a long-standing capability in energy, infrastructure and project finance matters. She has served as legal counsel to one of the world's largest energy companies and for a commercial bank listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Kong is a general corporate specialist and has a breadth of experience advising Chinese SOEs and international private equity funds on various projects. Formerly a senior lawyer at Jones Day, she is qualified in both New York, USA and in Ontario, Canada.
Lee joins from Austalian firm Allens Arthur Robinson and was formerly a partner at Concord & Partners. Her practice focuses on corporate, general commercial and M&A matters.
