Sidley Austin has hired Joseph Chan to further strengthen its Shanghai corporate offering. He joins from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, where he was its Shanghai office managing partner from 2006-2008.
Chan works with strategic buyers, funds, investment banks and companies in financings and acquisitions. His practice centres on working with clients through the full life cycle of private equity funds, from offshore and Rmb fund formation and portfolio investments to exits through M&A and capital markets.
