DLA Piper has appointed Matthew Glynn and Paul Lee as heads of the Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) Group in Asia, and Finance and Projects Group in Hong Kong respectively to strengthen its offering in the region.
Previously heading the Middle East IPT practice, Glynn is Australian-qualified and his practice focuses on the commercial and regulatory aspects of IT and telecommunications transactions.
Joining from Li & Partners, Lee was formerly the head of banking at Herbert Smith's Hong Kong office and has over 17 years of experience in banking-related transactions. With strong geographical expertise, especially in Hong Kong and China, Lee specialises in cross-border financings, structured lending, acquisition financing, syndicated lending, project financing, receivables financing, convertible bonds and debt restructuring.
