    Sound Global, a Singapore-listed PRC water and wastewater treatment solutions provider, has made a convertible bonds offering on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

    It issued Rmb885 million (US$113 million) aggregate principal amount of US dollar-settled 6 per cent convertible bonds due to mature in 2015. Morgan Stanley Asia was the manager for this transaction.

    Representing the issuer was a team from Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson led by Victoria Lloyd, Joshua Wechsler and Sian Withey. WongPartnership acted as Singapore counsel to Sound Global. Herbert Smith was US and UK counsel to Morgan Stanley Asia, and Zhong Lun Law Firm advised it on PRC law. Linklaters acted for the trustee and the paying agent.
