Applicability: The phrase “commodity residential premises” includes newly-constructed commodity residential premises and residential premises in stock (Article 1).
Main contents: Beginning from May 1 2010, one family (including the purchaser, spouse and minor children) may make only one new purchase of a unit of commodity residential premises in Beijing. Before concluding the purchase contract online, the purchaser of residential premises shall fill in the Form for Filing the Particulars of Family Members. Real property developers and agencies (including transaction guarantee organisations) or the service counter for online conclusion of property (property in stock) purchase contract shall verify the details in the Form by checking them against the original copy of the household registration and marriage registration certificates of the purchaser, and duplicate the same, and record the names and identity card numbers of the family members when concluding the contract online (Article 2).
