Work units may not invest in personal insurance for their personnel.

Main contents: The Circular reiterated Article 6 of the Circular on Issues Relevant to Regulating the Operation of Personal Insurance, which states that “Personal insurance may only be taken out by individuals. Insurance companies may not accept government authorities, associations, enterprises and public institutions that use personal insurance clauses to purchase insurance policies for individuals as policy holders”. The implementation of the new Insurance Law shall not affect the validity of the said Article.
