Silver Base Group Holdings has successfully listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The domestic and international distributor of Wuliangye Liquor, a well-known Chinese spirits brand, raised approximately US$133 million. The IPO was the largest in Hong Kong in 2009 so far.

The offering of 25% of Silver Base's share capital was 43-times over-subscribed. Trading of the shares began on April 8.

A team from Lovells advised Silver Base, with corporate partner Terence Lau leading. Fangda Partners acted for Silver Base on PRC legal issues.

UBS was sole global coordinator and sponsor of the offering. Lawyers from Clifford Chance advised UBS on Hong Kong and US law, while Jun He Law Firm acted on PRC legal matters.
