A new French embassy and diplomatic campus in Beijing is taking shape, with work expected to start within a few months.

The procurement contract has been awarded to Beijing Construction Engineering Group. The project has been designed by architect Alain Sarfati and is worth a total of €25 million (US$33.7 million).

Gide Loyrette Nouel advised France on preparing the bidding procedure and drafting the construction agreement according to Chinese law and French Procurement Code requirements.
