Effective: January 1 2009
Applicability: The Measures apply to the application, and examination and approval, for establishing travel agencies in the form of wholly-owned enterprises, or equity or co-operative joint ventures in Guangdong Province by Hong Kong and Macao service providers.
The Measures shall not apply to the application, and examination and approval, for establishment of travel agencies in Guangdong Province by other investors from Hong Kong and Macao (Article 2).
Main Contents: Hong Kong and Macao service providers that apply to establish a travel agency in Guangdong Province shall submit an application to the tourism bureau of the Province (Article 6).
